The Constituency Chairman for Tema West, Nana Boakye, has thrown his weight behind John Boadu, to retain the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party.
Nana Boakye described John Boadu as an astute and experienced General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party and gave justifications for the retention of Mr. Boadu.
“I Support John Boadu and endorse him as the most experienced amongst the options available to help our party break the eight,” he said on social media, adding “we can’t afford to go into a very crucial elections like that of 2024 with a New Presidential Candidate, New National Chairman, New National Organiser, New National Youth Organiser and also a New General Secretary.”
He added that JB as John Boadu is affectionately called, “is our best and surest bet. I Stand and Support JB.”
There has been similar calls by a wide range of party members and executives who are satisfied with the performance of Mr. Boadu and want him to continue to administer the affairs of the party as the 2024 election looms.
John Boadu, who has supervised two electoral victories for the New Patriotic Party, is in a position to be retained as the General Secretary.
