According to reports in the media, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC shot stopper Razak Abalora is close to completing a transfer to Moldovan giants FC Sheriff Tiraspol.
Abalora will travel to Tiraspol to complete the deal after successfully passing a mandatory medical examination.
Asante Kotoko is believe to have been engaging in negotiations with the Moldovan giants for sometime now.
The ex WAFA graduate is likely to sign a four to five years contract with Sheriff Tiraspol which will make him teammates to Ghanaian compatriots Edmund Addo and Abdul Basit Khalid.
The Ghanaian International has been pivotal to the Porcupine Warriors league journey since joining them last seasons making 27 appearances with 13 clean sheets and conceding 18 goals.
He has played 9 matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier League and has managed to keep 5 clean sheets and conceded 6 goals.
The highly-rated goalkeeper has four caps for the Black Stars since making his debut on 12 October 2020 in 5-1 win against Qatar in an international friendly.
