A mass brawl was captured on camera as men struck each other with metal poles outside a car wash.

The video shows a fight that broke out on Nottingham Road in Basford, Nottingham, at around 10.30am on Tuesday, July 27th.

The footage was posted online on Facebook and Instagram and has launched a police investigation, according to Nottinghamshire Live.

It shows a group of men throwing punches at each other next to a car as other men try to hit each other with what witnesses described as metal poles.

At the end of the video, a group of men get inside a BMW before appearing to drive away from the scene.

Eyewitness Si Clark said: “From what I saw, the lad in the blue BMW got out and started on some lads. It all kicked off from there.”

He added one of those involved had a metal bar and was using it in the fight.

One person also appears to pick up a cone during the altercation.

Their investigations are ongoing and officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at around 10.30am.

Chief Inspector Paul Hennessy, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This kind of violence will not be tolerated by Nottinghamshire Police and we are currently working to identify all those involved in this incident.

“If you have any information that may help us in our investigation we would like to hear from you as soon as possible. Please contact us on 101 quoting incident 214 of 27 July.”
