Former Asante Kotoko team manager, Godwin Ablodey has refuted quotes attributed to him, saying the BoD chairman of Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei is a major headache of the sporting club.
The former player of the Kumasi-based sporting club who served at the technical department of Kotoko says he has not granted any interview regarding the BoD chairman of the club.
According to Godwin Ablodey, the last time he granted an interview with respect to the affairs of the club dates back to 2019 when he was in charge as the team manager of the club.
Speaking on Midfield Action with Joe Laka on Kessben 92.9, Kessben 93.3 FM/TV, the former captain of the porcupines denied ever granting an interview about the challeges of the club. “I know nothing about that. I have not said anything. I’m not currently part of the technical team of the club and I have not granted any interview in relation to the club” Ablodey said.
“The last time I granted an interview in relation to the club is two years ago when I was the team manager of the club. I went to the Secretariat and I was asked to sign some document, it was a hotel bill I did not negotiate so I said I can’t sign that. It was that issue which I spoke about two years ago” He concluded.
