Harvey Elliott: Liverpool teenager suffers serious ankle injury at Leeds

A visibly upset Jurgen Klopp said Liverpool's Harvey Elliott was in "massive pain" after suffering a serious ankle injury at Leeds. Elliott, 18, was carried off on a stretcher and taken to hospital following a challenge by Leeds defender Pascal Struijk, who was sent off. Police arrest taxi driver for alleged involvement in several murders

The Police have arrested one Felix Ansah, a 35-year-old taxi driver for his alleged involvement in several murders. The suspect made the claims himself on Thursday, September 2, 2021 during an interview he granted on Onua TV, where he alleged that he had killed several persons for ritual purposes. A statement signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kwesi Ofori, Acting Director-General, Public Affairs said following his admission of the alleged commission of such acts, he was arrested to assist in Police investigations. It said Felix would be put before court on Monday, September 13, 2021, to be placed on remand for thorough investigations into the allegations to continue.

Government to work on water expansion in Hohoe – President Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has said his government would expand water systems in the Hohoe Constituency to serve the increasing population. He said the Ghana Water Company Limited had concluded negotiations with TBM and SMEB Chinese firms for the project, which would produce 44,000 metric tonnes of water. President Akufo-Addo said the project would cost 139 million US dollars, would be completed in 36 months, and be financed by the Exim Bank. Blogger remanded over fraud and forgery of official documents

A 29-year-old blogger accused of defrauding a trader of 21,000 Euros under the pretext of securing her two Italian passports and Resident Identity Cards, has been remanded into custody by an Accra Circuit Court. Jacklin Sarfo Gyamfua a.k.a. Ohemaa Jackie, is facing charges of defrauding by false pretences and forgery of official documents. Gyamfua has denied the charges. Bail application put in by her counsel, Mr Peter Sarfo before the court was turned down. Prosecution led by Detective Inspector Frederick Sarpong had vehemently opposed the bail application on the grounds that the case was still under the investigations.
