Ghana Black Stars head coach C K Akonnor has named a strong team to face South Africa in this afternoon's World Cup qualifier at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg. With the absence of some key players due to covid 19 restrictions, the former Ghana skipper has made as many as seven changes to the team which defeated Ethiopia at Cape Coast on Friday. Hearts of Oak skipper Fatawu Mohammed and Gideon Mensah replaces Andy Yiadom and Baba Rahman at right and left back with Jonathan Mensah replacing Daniel Amartey in defence. GWCL to cut water supply to parts of Accra

The Management of Ghana Water Company limited (GWCL), has told the general Public, that there will be an interruption of water supply to the western part of the Greater Accra Region from Monday the 13th to Friday the 17th of Sept., 2021. A statement said GWCL Engineers will be replacing some faulty valves on the main 900mm transmission pipe lines, which impedes water flow and causes serious challenges in the distribution lines.
