AMA to deploy digital services to improve operational efficiency

Chief Executive of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Mohammed Adjei Sowah has announced plans to deploy digital services more robustly in the development of the City. According to him, the AMA would soon automate services such as waste collection, marriage registration, outdoor advertising, permitting among others and was poised to use additional tools to provide smart services to the people of Accra. Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy has been charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. The 27-year-old defender has been remanded in police custody and will appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday. Suspected member of kidnapping syndicate arrested, one on the run

The Ashanti Regional Police Command is investigating a 24-year-old man who allegedly attempted to kidnap a five-year-old female child at Patasi, a suburb of Kumasi. Michael Akwasi Agyemang, the suspect, currently in police custody, was reportedly arrested through the vigilance of some members of the community.
