‘I wanted one’ – Jack Grealish hits back at Roy Keane after England penalty claim

Jack Grealish has explained why he did not take a penalty in England’s Euro 2020 final shootout defeat by Italy and dismissed claims by Roy Keane that he should have hit one. The Aston Villa playmaker was introduced nine minutes into extra-time as the Three Lions searched for a winner. However, with the game ending 1-1 it went to penalties but Grealish did not step up. While Harry Kane and Harry Maguire converted their spot-kicks and Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made two saves to deny the Italians, Marcus Rahsford hit the post while Jadon Sancho’s effort was stopped by Gianluigi Donnarumma. It was then up to Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka to hit the decisive penalty but Donnarumma again guessed the right way. At just 19, the Gunners winger was handed the responsibilit...

Journalists ‘unable’ to look at Zuma’s topless fiancee during interview

The 24-year-old has already changed her name to Nonkanyiso Conco Zuma after having Jacob Zuma’s child earlier this month. A picture of eNCA recording former president Jacob Zuma’s soon-to-be seventh wife, Nonkanyiso Conco, was uploaded to social media and drew comment because of the obvious awkwardness of it. The cheerful young Zulu maiden, who is now 24 years old, stands confidently in the shot while the cameraman and interviewee look the other way. One user explained that, apparently, in Zulu culture it’s “not allowed to look at mkhulu’s [big man’s] wife, hence they have to look the other way!” However, it’s not clear when the photo was taken, and it is presumably from several years ago, since Conco no longer participates as a maiden in the Zulu Reed Dance. It’s also pro...

If you can cross 6 minutes in bed, you are normal – Urologist

“We don’t have a culture of asking questions,” host of Joy FM’s Home Affairs, Edem Knight-Tay would remark to her guest, Dr Matthew Yamoah Kyei, a consultant urologist at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. But under the relative anonymity of radio, the men would emerge from their hideouts, revealing on Joy FM’s Home Affairs, the many little demons they battle with in their sexual lives. The urologist set a sex-time target of six minutes and said men who are able to cross this mark in bed are considered normal. It is only in a bed that Usain Bolt is not a hero because speed is actually weakness, and the tortoise is actually a strength. With six minutes the minimum, the men called in to complain about their numbers. Joe, a 35-year-old man, regurgitated his wife’s complaint that...

Boris Johnson accused of ‘doing nothing’ to stop racist abuse of England team with weak and delayed online harms bill

Boris Johnson has been accused of doing nothing to stop racist abuse of the England team by weakening and delaying legislation to police online hate speech. Labour accused the prime minister of offering only "warm words and gigantic England flags" while actually turning a "blind eye" to abuse. Mr Johnson on Monday issued a statement condemning fans' racist abuse of players following Italy's Euro 2020 final defeat on penalties at Wembley on Sunday night. But the opposition says he is not using the powers he has to help stop the abuse, which saw England players compared to slaves and the use of racial epithets. The party says the government's upcoming Online Harms Bill is "a weak Bill which would do nothing to prevent this disgusting abuse from being published on social...
