Okwawu United urge closer to middle league qualification

Ghanaian football club Okwawu United is steps away from booking a place in the middle league following an impressive run in the ongoing Eastern Regional Zonal league.

The former Ghana FA Cup winners leads the Zone 8 with 12 points and 8 goals after the end of the first round.

This serve as a boost for the ‘Asaase Aban’ lads as they seek to return to Ghana’s division one league by the end of this season.

Okwawu United won 4, lost 1 and scored 10 goals and conceded 2 in their last 5 games played in the zone.

Twumasi Asare Frimpong leads the goal king chat of zone 8 with 4goals followed by Richardson Asiamah Jnr with 3 goals.
