President Akufo-Addo Ends Tour Of Upper East Region; Commissions Bolga East Assembly Building

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Monday, 21st June 2021, commissioned a newly constructed building for the Bolgatanga East District Assembly, following his working visit of the Upper East Region, which saw him visit Bolgatanga, Binduri and Bawku. Ongoing work at Sunyani airport stops as contractor cries over debt

The ongoing rehabilitation works at the Sunyani Airport in the Bono Region have stopped because the contractor working on the expansion of the runway, Resources Access Limited (RAL) has not been paid for several months by the Government of Ghana. Four persons have died in a gory accident at Asabaha on the Obom stretch in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region. An 18-year-old woman has died while having sex on her wedding night after suffering a heart attack. Cops said the young bride was consummating her marriage with her new husband, 29, when she started to feel unwell and collapsed at the couple’s home in the city of Ibirite in Brazil on Thursday evening.
