The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Samuel Abu Jinapor Wednesday said government has already distributed more than five million seedlings to the district and regional offices of the Forestry Commission and district assemblies in readiness for the Green Ghana Day. About 440,000 seedlings distributed in Central Region ahead of Green Ghana Day

The Central Regional Branch of the Forest Service Division of the Forestry Commission has distributed more than 440,000 seedlings ahead of Friday, June 11 Green Ghana tree planting celebration, to retrieve the Country's lost forest and sustain the environment. Government to renovate all dilapidated public basic schools

Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minster of Education, has announced plans by the Ministry to begin rehabilitating all old and dilapidated basic schools across the country. This is to make sure that the schools were safe, attractive and conducive for effective teaching and learning. Dr Adutwum said this when he called on the Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.
