Ghana applauded for effective management of Covid-19 outbreak

The International Monetary Fund, IMF led by Carlo Sdralevich has applauded Ghana for effective management of the Covid-19 outbreak. Mr Carlo Sdralevich made this statement at the conclusion during consultations he held under the Article IV during April 28 – May 12, 2021 through virtual meetings. “Ghana has managed very effectively the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, and thus succeeded in protecting lives. Almost 93,000 cases have been confirmed, and unfortunately 780 people have died as of today. Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw Constituency in the Eastern Region Joseph Frimpong has donated to Okwahu United football club. The Member of Parliament donated an amount of four thousand Ghana Cedis (¢4,000.00) to Football Club as part of preparations ahead of the season. The team manager Mr Yaw Mireku and Operations Manager Mr Kwaku Mensa who received the amount expressed  their gratitude to the MP  as this is the first and foremost such a donation has been received from sitting Member of Parliament.
