Three armed men murder security man at Ashongman

Three armed men on Monday broke into the GOIL Filling Station Ashongman Pure Water and took away GHC2,006.00 and murdered a security man in the process. The night security man whose name was only given as Effo who is in his mid-forties was found dead in a mini bus at the Filling Station, with multiple cuts on his body. The body of the deceased has been removed and deposited at Police Hospital morgue in Accra. Alleged Killer of Unruly Grant arrested

Police arrest four over murder, possession of firearms

Four persons are assisting the Accra Regional Police Command (ARPC) over the murder of one Osei Owusu, 32. The suspects, namely: Ben Darko 68, James Sarpong 67, Asante Bright 31 and Sika Kwaku Victor 18, have been transferred to the Amasaman Divisional Police Command to assist in investigations. However, one Opanin Asane Kwame, 64 years, who is alleged to be the owner of the two Pump Action guns was also arrested. The Accra Regional Police Command  personnel on Monday, February 8, 2021 gunned-down a suspected armed robber during a gun battle with a suspected  gang of robbers.
