Three MCEs donate to Accra Great Olympics

Three Municipal Chief Executives (MCEs) in the Greater Accra Region have donated GHC10,000 to Accra Great Olympics following their 2-0 win over Hearts of Oak last Saturday in the Ghana Premier League (GPL). The three, who are avid supporters of the club; Mr. Mohammed Sowah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Mr. Boye Laryea of Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly and Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey, of the Ga Central, also donated footballs and jerseys for ball boys to the club for their impressive performance in the league so far. Ban on Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale served its purpose – Charterhouse

Organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), Charterhouse, have lifted the ban placed on Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. Head of Events and Public Relations at Charterhouse, Robert Klah, told MzGee on Simply Show Biz on TV3 Saturday February 6 that the ban had served it purpose hence, the decision to lift it.. “The ban has served its purpose,” he said. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Match Review Committee has noted that, the call for a penalty and a red card by Referee Daniel Oteng Appiah and fourth referee Richmond Adjei in the game involving Berekum Arsenals and BA United was right.
