Board Member of Asante Kotoko, Kofi Abban has pledged to award each player $300 should they qualify over Al Hilal.
Kotoko will be hosted at the Blue Jewel Stadium on Wednesday in the second game of the preliminary round of the Caf Champions League.
The Ghana Premier League side lost by a lone goal at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg.
Despite the players threatening to boycott the game earlier due to unpaid entitlements, calm has been restored at the camp of the players in Omdurman.
However, a report indicate that, “Asante Kotoko Board member, Dr Kofi Amoah-Abban, has confirmed to Opemsuo Sports that he will pay each player $300 should they win or qualify against Al Hilal in tomorrow’s game.”
Kotoko have not played the group phase of the Caf Champions League for the past 14 years.
The Porcupine Warriors will play the Confederations Cup should they fail to book a qualification in the group of the Champions League.116
