Former President John Agyekum Kufuor says he believes his party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has won the 7 December presidential poll.
Kufour says he has been staying up throughout the night monitoring the results of the polls.

Whether he is disappointed in the results so far President John Agyekum Kufuor said “… but I thought we would do far better than that…the country appreciated the party, otherwise our president wouldn’t have performed as well as he did.
“But this shows that people are very discerning these days – they affect people individually and on merit, so they(electorates) distinguish between the president and the MPs,” Kufuor added.
