Asante Kotoko has been declared 2-0 winners over FC Nouadhibou after the refused to turn up for the game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The second leg of the CAF Champions League game between the two was supposed to come on on Saturday but was rescheduled for Sunday after two players from the Mauritanian side tested positive for Coronavirus.
However, another test this morning revealed that the same players had the virus but the officials of the club were unwilling to get the two players out of the team forcing match officials to cancel the game for the second time in two days.
The match officials walked Kotoko unto the field after Nouadhibou insistence not to play and awarded the Porcupines Warriors 2-0 winners.
This means Kotoko have qualified to the next round of the competition with 3-1 on aggregate.
The Reds will now face Sudanese side Al Hilal in the next round of the competition.127
