Legon Cities appoints Bashir Hayford as head coach

Ghana Premeir league side Legon Cities have appointed veteran coach Bashir Hayford as the club’s head coach.

The two time Ghana Premier league winner replaces Bosnian Goran Barjaktarevic who was sacked just two games into the GPL.

Legon have failed to win any of their opening two games sharing the spoils 1-1 with Berekum Chelsea and losing 3-0 against Great Olympics.

Bashir Hayford has a rich experience in the Ghanaian terrain after winning the title with Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold in 2007/08 and 2014/15 seasons respectively.

He led the Black Queens to participate in the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations hosted in Ghana.
