Fabio Gama to arrive in Kumasi today

Newly signed Asante Kotoko attacking midfielder Fabio Gama is set to arrive in Kumasi today from Accra after arriving in the country with his family on Monday afternoon. The Brazilian Star will arrive in the Ashanti Regional capital on Tuesday morning to begin preparation for the season. The Brazilian joined Asante Kotoko during the transfer window and has now arrived after sorting out his paper works. He landed at the Kotoka International Airport Monday and was welcomed by Asante Kotoko’s Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amposah, and Dentaa Amoateng MBE, who is the club’s Diaspora and International Relations Manager. Fabio Gama has been handed the Number 10 shirt of Asante Kotoko and is expected to join his teammates in the coming days.

Day One of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season ended on Monday with WAFA still the only side to have secured a win on the opening round of matches. The week ended with both Liberty Professionals and Inter Allies drawing their home games against Bechem United and Dreams FC respectively.
