Accra Five Star FC, Liberty Professionals lock horns in Dansoman

Accra Five Stars FC will make a short trip to Dansoman on Wednesday morning where they are expected to engage in a friendly game against Liberty Professionals. The Ghana Premier league side will host Five Star FC at the Karl Reindoff park at exactly 7;00 am with the game promised to be full of fireworks. Both clubs will be using the game as a dress rehearsal ahead of the Ghana football season which kick start next month. Liberty Professionals will using the game as preparation for their upcoming Ghana Premier league whiles Five Star are also preparing their National Division three league. Five Star FC will be hoping to continue their fine form following back to back wins over counterparts Zaytun Academy and Accra Rockets.

Only uniform personnel will be deployed to polling stations – Dr Gariba

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP), Dr Sayibu Gariba, Director of Operations of the Ghana Police Service says only uniform personnel from the Police and other security agencies would be deployed to polling stations in the upcoming December 7, elections. Motor Rider allegedly stabs two persons over leftover beer

A 31 year old motor rider has been remanded by an Accra Circuit Court for allegedly stabbing and injuring two persons in a scuffle over “leftover beer”. Salifu Awudu is said to have stabbed an unemployed man in the abdomen and administered cuts on a forestry officer’s arm with jack knife and an unknown object. Awudu charged with two counts of causing harm, has pleaded not guilty. He is to reappear before the Court on November 11, presided over Ms. Evelyn Asamoah.
