Economy hits historic low under Akufo-Addo – Mahama

The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, has expressed concern about the current state of the Ghanaian economy. He says it is the worst in the history of the Fourth Republic. Addressing members and supporters of NDC at Daboase in the Wassa East constituency on Thursday as part of his five-day campaign tour of the Western Region, Mr Mahama observed that the economy on the watch of President Akufo-Addo is burdened with huge debt, with the recent IMF report indicating that Ghana's debt to GDP is 76 per cent. Pres Akuffo-Addo commission 64km Kete Krachi – Dodiokope road, inspects 15km town roads

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Thursday, 22nd October 2020, commissioned the sixty-four-kilometre (64km) Kete Krachi - Dodiokope Road Project, in the newly created Oti Region. This project was undertaken in three (3) phases by Messrs First Sky Limited, at a total cost of GH¢156 million, and was funded by COCOBOD, with the Ghana Highway Authority serving as the implementing agency and supervising consultant. The project was originally programmed for completion in twenty-four (24) calendar months at a combined contract sum of GH¢176.5 million. Ghana Premier league giants Accra Hearts of Oak have secured the service of Willem Alexander Coleman as Chief Operation Officer. Alexander Coleman holds MBA in Sports Management from the LaLiga-UCAM University in Spain. He also holds Bachelors’ degree in Economics and Sociology, KNUST and Sports Marketing from then LaLiga-UCAM University in Murcia, Spain.
