Newly established Accra Five Star football club played out a 1-1 score line in a friendly game played at the Zaytuna Park in Kasoa.

The game started with an end to end action with the travellers mostly dictating the pace of the game.

But the home side, Accra Five Star FC quickly took control of the game with sterling performance from skipper of the side Kojo Ismaila and Rashid bossing the midfield.

The superb performance from Five Star finally yielded fruit when they got the opener with few minutes to end the first half.

The second half began with both coaches making changes to their starting teams all in search of a win.

With few minutes into the second half, Topscouts managed by former Liberty Professionals coach Reginald Asante pulled level bringing the score line to a 1-1 stalemate.

Before the game, the junior side of Five Star FC engaged in a curtain raiser with Young Emirates FC which they lost by 1-2.

The team is yet to taste defeat in their last four games after three straight wins over Zaytun Academy and Accra Rockets Academy.

President of the club Tony Montana is hopeful the team will be ready for the upcoming Division three league slated for December this year.
