Kostas Tsimikas: Liverpool sign left-back from Olympiakos

Kostas Tsimikas says he believes he has joined "the biggest club in the world" after completing a move to Liverpool from Olympiakos. The 24-year-old has joined the Premier League champions for about £11.7m on a five-year contract and is expected to provide competition for Andy Robertson. "I'm very happy, I'm very proud to be here," Tsimikas said. "It's an honour to be here and I will give my best. For me, [it's] the biggest club in the world." Osofo Dadzie confirmed dead

Veteran Ghanaian actor and producer, Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Osofo Dadzie has been confirmed dead. He died this morning at age 89. The demise of the veteran actor was announced by actor Mr Beautiful on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment’ Show hosted by Halifax Ansah-Addo. Before the sad incident, Mr Beautiful said he paid a visit to the deceased just last month (July) with his colleague actor-Kohwe.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has instructed the Ghana Education Service (GES) re-examine its decision to ban some 14 dismissed senior high school students from writing the ongoing West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). A statement issued Sunday by Mr Eugene Arhin, Communications Director at the Presidency, said the President had directed the Education minister to engage with the GES to reconsider its decision because the dismissal of the 14 was itself enough punishment that would serve as deterrent to others.
