President Akufo-Addo commissions Nalerigu water supply project

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has commissioned the Nalerigu Water Supply Project, constructed under the Sustainable Rural Water and Sanitation Project. Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Tuesday, 28th July 2020, President Akufo-Addo noted that the Sustainable Rural Water and Sanitation Project has been implemented in eleven (11) out of the sixteen (16) regions of the country, and has been financed by a $47.5 million credit facility from the World Bank. Ghana will record positive economic growth- Dr Assibey-Yeboah

A security man in his 60s, Moses Buer, was Sunday, July 26, found killed at the Wabco Gas filing station by unknown assailants at Sege, Ada West District, Greater Accra Region. According to the Police, he was found lying facedown with his hands tied to his back as well as his legs as his mouth was sealed and taped. Alleged Togolese who attempted to acquire voter ID freed

A Tema Magistrate Court presided over by Mrs. Akosua Anokyewaa Adjepong has discharged an alleged Togolese charged for attempting to register in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise. Elvis Kweku Seglah, 35 years old, was discharged after the prosecution failed to provide  evidence or witness to support the charge related to electoral offence. The Court, a fortnight ago, granted Seglah a bail in the sum of Ghs 6,000 with two sureties after pleading not guilty to the charge when he first appeared before it.
