Ghana Black Stars forward Andre Ayew scored to give Swansea City a first leg win over Brentford in the English Championship playoffs.
The Ghanaian striker missed a penalty but came back to give the Wales side the needed victory to propel them to the next stage of the playoff.
The goal keeps Swansea City in pole position going into the second leg which has been scheduled for Wednesday.
Ayew‘s last 4 goals had all been penalties – his 18th goal of the season for Swansea was the first from open play in 13 appearances.
