Manhyia Palace has registered displeasure over former CEO of Asante Kotoko George Amoako’s eruption in the media.
The former Chief Executive Officer of the Reds was relieved of his duties some weeks ago after the dissolution of the management team.
Mr Goerge Amoako after leaving his position publicly came out demanding his unpaid settlements owed him by the club.
But the Manhyia Palace seem not to be happy with Mr Amoako’s decision to come public.
Speaking in an interview with Opemsuo FM in Kumasi, Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff of Manhyia Kwame Aboagye Mensah said the decision by George Amoako has damaged the reputation of the club and Manhyia as a whole.
“Manhyia Palace is not happy with the way George Amoako has handled the issue of his salaries in arrears, this issue has damaged the reputation of the club and for that matter Manhyia”. he said.
“He could have done that in a proper manner,it doesn’t augur well at all”.
“We are displeased with the way he has handled it,we are not happy with him. He could have written to Prof Lydia Nkansah- committee and it would have settled the issue”. he added.
