There was a miscommunication Highly Spiritual Music respond to Mr. Drew,Rotimi Case

Highly Spiritual music has cleared the air on the matter of song stealing involving their artiste Mr Drew and American/ Nigerian artiste Rotimi. The label says a miscommunication from their digital publishers and that of Rotimi's caused the mishap and working around the clock to resolve the issue. The Highly Spiritual Music Group said this in a press released signed by Group CEO David Kojo Kyei (Kaywa) on Saturday May 30,2020. Below is the full press release.

Mr. Drew song ‘EAT’ video deleted by YouTube over copyright

Ghanaian singer and hightly spiritual music signee Mr Drew has had his song pulled down from Youtube over issues concerning copyright. The 'Dwe' hitmaker had his song which features Stonebwoy deleted after it breached Youtube’s copyright laws. According to reports, the ‘EAT’ song was sampled from Rotimi’s ‘Love Riddim’, song from his ‘Walk With Me’ album released in July 2019. This decision from Youtube will be a big blow to the Ghanaian artist after it amassed more than 150,000 views.

NDC COVID 19 Team donates PPEs to National Cardiothoracic Center

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Technical Team on COVID-19 has donated quantities of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the National Cardiothoracic Center at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra to help fight the deadly pandemic. The items include; nose mask, gloves, medical boots, and protective clothing among others. This is the second time the Technical Team has donated PPE'S to the hospital since the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic It is to help complement the efforts of the government in the fight against the pandemic which has affected more 7000 people in Ghana. A coalition of African traditional religion believers in Ghana have called on government to institute a public holiday to honour their faith, as has been done for Christians and Muslims. The coalition said African traditional religion deserves such consideration since it is recognised by the 1992 Constitution. Ho Central Prison inmates registered on NHIS

A four-day exercise to register inmates of the Ho Central Prison onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) ended yesterday with 106 prisoners receiving their NHIS. Sixty-one of the inmates had their missing cards replaced while 69 others had their expired cards renewed. The exercise was carried out jointly by the prison authorities and the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). The Deputy Director of Prison in-charge of the Volta Region, Mr Andrews Dzokoto said the prison has great concerned for the health and well-being of the inmates. According to him, efforts are being made to upgrade the one-bunk bed infirmary at the prison into a 20-bed health centre.
